Te Reo Week 2
Kia ora Bloggers the last week we have been doing Te reo Maori we had to make a google slide. When we finished creating the slide we would take photos of our buddy or ourselves we would also use an app to take the background out to make png. We would say He Aha Tenei meaning What is this then we would reply He something Tena but we wouldn’t actually say He something tena for example He aha tenei ? He pene rakau tena we had to do ten slides of different objects we used the photos that we download from the app and put the photo on the google slide we were also able to buy ourselves or with a buddy my buddy was Dalton. We have been having fun we are going to do something fun next too well blog you later.
In week two we had two special guests come to our school. Their names were Ned and the Amazing Nicole. They came to our school to tell us how our brain works and about Mindset Mission. Ned stands for N Never Give Up, E Encourage others and D means TO DO YOUR BEST. We all learnt that instead of giving up we needed to keep going and Nicole said use the power of Yet!!!. Which means I can’t do it YET but don’t give up.
Nicole presented some tricks through her show she used an Excelerator (the excelerator is a very cool yoyo it is an yoyo for professional but you do not have to be professional to buy one). She did so many cool tricks like around the world and other cool ones.
I really in enjoyed ( even though I was late) the show was very interesting. Bye
Kia ora bloggers for the past Week we have been practicing cross-country. Te Ngahere have been doing great efforts in cross-country training, Our times have been very very good we have been achieving our goals that we want to achieve my goal is to run fast and reading drain my time (what I mean by drain my time is to take off time). My first time was 10 minutes and 10 seconds,Second time was 7 minutes and 55 seconds and then my third one, was 8 minutes and also my four one was 7 minutes and 38 seconds.

Yesterday in Te Ngahere we made a infographic. An infographic is a graphic with information on it that explains things using images and a little bit of words.
The steps are:
Ask a question
Gather information and observe (research)
Make a hypothesis (guess the answer)
Experiment and test your hypothesis
Analyze your test results
Present a conclusion
2 weeks ago we had Rippa rugby in kaikohe we played against a lot of teams and we lost some of them and won a couple when we had a break we were practicing our moves we made a move called wokanda then we made another move called wakonda forever We used this move on our very last game But we practice these moves throughout our other games we had difficulties working as a team but we got there. however our other half of our team won all of the games I was a bit jealous but I was too glad for them.
At the end of the day we all have fun and on the leaderboard with my team came for us and the other team came first and if your first or second place on the leaderboard our team wins the qualifiers they are able to go to Wellington with matua Pep.
Kia ora bloggers. The past week we have been doing our Taku Whanau. We had to say our family and we ha to say in te reo maori this is this my Mum this is my Uncle this the younger brother of my Mum is was really diffetcul to make animation. We really had a long time to work on it then after we finished the animation we We had to use screencastify to say our whanau in Maori We had to go somewhere quiet. The boys I was with they were a bit noisy and they made me laugh it was really hard to speak because and the corner of my eye the boy was laughing.
